ADRIÁN ESCUDERO GARCÍA

The club's all-time top scorer in the league (150 goals), he is a forward who rose to fame as a member of both La Delantera de Seda ("The Silk Forward Line") and La Delantera de Cristal ("The Crystal Forward Line"). Playing on the left wing, Escudero was a constant attacking threat thanks to his depth of run, his shooting and his aerial play at the far post. Well into his career, Helenio Herrera moved him to center forward, a position he would also occupy for the Spanish national team, where he showed his sharp instinct in front of goal. After retiring, El Chava held various coaching and technical roles at Atlético de Madrid.
