It is inspired by some details of the first red and white jersey that the players wore in 1947 already under the name of Club Atletico de Madrid.
That historic elastic featured a white central stripe that is recovered in this new design. In addition, on the front part a huge letter A is formed with the central red stripes to continue the tribute to Atletico de Madrid.
